E-commerce & Online Sales Setup

Your own online shop, with marketplace support scoped separately where eligible.

The problem

What usually goes wrong

Products, checkout, shipping and order handling need to work together. A shop can look ready while test orders fail, shipping options are unclear or staff still copy every order into a spreadsheet. Marketplace channels add their own eligibility and approval requirements.

Who it's for

Built for businesses that sell

  • Businesses launching an online shop for their own products
  • Retailers adding Shopify or WooCommerce to an existing business
  • Brands exploring Amazon as a separate marketplace channel
  • Stores improving manual order handling or moving to a better-fitting platform

What we build

Online Sales, built to connect

  • Your online shop

A Shopify or WooCommerce shop in your business’s account, with agreed pages, theme configuration and navigation. This is your own sales channel, separate from an Amazon marketplace presence.

  • Amazon marketplace support

Separately scoped help preparing seller information and product listings. A branded Amazon Store is included only where agreed and where your business meets Amazon’s eligibility and approval requirements.

  • Product catalog

Agreed products, variants, images, descriptions and collections structured from the information you provide. Product counts and content responsibilities are defined in the proposal.

  • Checkout, shipping and tax settings

Payment and shipping options configured for the agreed markets, with tax settings based on instructions from you or your adviser. Provider approval and business compliance remain your responsibility.

  • Order communication and reporting

Agreed order notifications and available store reporting. Marketing email, SMS, consent setup and advanced tracking are separate items to confirm in scope.

  • Order and inventory workflows

Supported connections between your shop, existing fulfilment process and back-office tools, with data ownership, sync limits and exception handling agreed before build.

  • Store migration

An agreed set of products, customer records and order data moved where the source and destination platforms support it, with redirects planned for relevant existing links.

How it works

The way we run it

  1. Agree products, sales channel and launch requirements
  2. Choose the shop platform and confirm any separate marketplace scope
  3. Set up the shop using your approved business accounts
  4. Add the agreed catalog and checkout settings
  5. Connect the scoped order workflows
  6. Test the purchase, notification and order-handling flow
  7. Launch and hand over access and guidance

Deliverables

What you get

  • Configured Shopify or WooCommerce shop, as agreed
  • Agreed product catalog, pages and navigation
  • Checkout, shipping and tax settings based on supplied requirements
  • Test-order checks and handover documentation
  • Order notifications and reporting included in scope
  • Order or inventory connections included in scope
  • Separate marketplace preparation and listing support only where agreed and eligible

What you provide

What we need from you

  • Business details and any verification documents requested directly by the chosen platforms
  • Store, marketplace and payment accounts owned and approved by your business, with appropriate access for the agreed work
  • Product names, descriptions, prices, variants, SKUs and images, with permission to use the supplied content
  • An existing product supply and fulfilment arrangement
  • Approved shipping, returns and refund policies, and tax-setting instructions from your business or adviser
  • Timely content, design and test-order approvals

Clear expectations

What we don't guarantee

  • Amazon or other marketplace account, branded Store, product or category approval
  • Payment provider approval or uninterrupted third-party platform availability
  • Sales volume, revenue, profitability or margins
  • Search or marketplace ranking positions
  • Advertising performance

Platform policies. Your business owns its shop, marketplace and payment accounts and remains responsible for its products, policies and compliance. Marketplace eligibility, verification, product restrictions and approvals are decided by the relevant platform. An Amazon seller account and a branded Amazon Store are different parts of that platform, each subject to applicable requirements. Setup support does not guarantee approval or permission to sell.

Less manual work

Automation built in

Once the store is live, routine steps run on their own. Automation

  • Route a new order to an agreed fulfilment queue
  • Sync supported stock fields between the systems included in scope
  • Send configured order and shipping notifications when the relevant status is available
  • Flag low stock, failed payments or workflow errors for review
  • Produce an order summary from the connected systems

Where it plugs in

Part of one system

  • Website and organic social: send interested visitors to relevant product pages
  • Automation: connect agreed order and stock updates between supported tools
  • Operations: make order status available to the team handling fulfilment and customer queries

Use cases

Where it fits

  • A retailer launching a Shopify shop alongside its physical store
  • A brand preparing eligible product listings for a separately scoped Amazon channel
  • A retailer migrating an agreed catalog from another platform to WooCommerce or Shopify

FAQ

Questions

What is the difference between an online shop and Amazon?

Shopify and WooCommerce support your own online shop. Amazon is a marketplace with its own account, listing, brand and category requirements. Marketplace support is scoped separately; a seller account does not automatically include eligibility for a branded Amazon Store.

Will my Amazon account or Store be approved?

Amazon makes that decision. We can help prepare the information and listings included in the agreed scope, but cannot guarantee eligibility, verification, account approval, category approval or branded Store access.

Shopify or WooCommerce?

We choose based on your existing website, catalog, checkout requirements, maintenance needs and budget. The proposal identifies the platform and any ongoing provider costs.

Do you offer dropshipping or find suppliers?

Dropshipping setup, supplier sourcing and supplier vetting are not currently offered. You need an existing product supply and fulfilment arrangement for an online shop project.

Do you run paid ads for the shop?

Paid campaign management is not included in shop setup. Availability, scope and fees for any paid campaign work must be confirmed separately. Organic social content is a separate service, and ad spend is excluded unless explicitly agreed.

Who owns the shop and accounts?

Your business owns its shop, marketplace and payment accounts. Access, handover and any third-party licences are defined in the proposal.

What costs are included?

The proposal defines the work included. Third-party costs, including hosting, apps, licences, platform subscriptions, payment and marketplace fees, and ad spend, are excluded unless explicitly included in the agreed scope.
