Custom Business Operating Systems
Connect the records and workflows your team needs to run the business.
The problem
What usually goes wrong
The business runs on a patchwork of apps, spreadsheets and messages. Information is duplicated, nothing gives the full picture, and growth adds chaos instead of capacity.
What we build
Business OS, built to connect
A single source of truth
An agreed home for core customer, job or booking records, with clear rules for data shared with other systems.
Connected modules
Start with a focused set of intake, scheduling, portal or reporting modules, then add others when needed.
Automation throughout
Connect routine steps between the agreed modules, with human approvals and exception handling where they matter.
Owner dashboard
An operational view based on the connected data, with refresh timing and reporting limits made clear.
How it works
The way we run it
- Map the current work, systems and data
- Agree a phased plan and first module
- Build and test the first useful workflow
- Migrate the agreed records and train users
- Review the first phase before committing to more
- Scope further modules or ongoing support separately
Deliverables

Where it plugs in
Part of one system
- Website and store: agreed enquiry or order data enters the workflow

FAQ
Questions
How is this different from buying software?
We first check whether your existing tools or an off-the-shelf product can meet the need. A custom system makes sense when the agreed workflow needs a more tailored fit, and can still use tools that already work well.
Does it have to be built all at once?
No. We define a useful first phase, test it with your team and review what to add next. Later phases are separately scoped and approved.
What size of business is this for?
The starting point is the workflow problem, rather than a particular headcount. Discovery checks whether a custom build is justified by the work involved and the tools you already have.
What costs are included?
The proposal defines the work included. Third-party costs, including hosting, apps, licences, platform subscriptions, payment and marketplace fees, and ad spend, are excluded unless explicitly included in the agreed scope.
